Help Lawrence Live with Stage 4 Colon Cancer

I'm 65, living for these past 6 months post-diagnosis with Stage IV colon cancer, (had major surgery then 16 weeks' chemo) and with best friend Tim also battling cancer and many other grave medical conditions, and two fur babies, one also diagnosed with cancer in July. Unceremoniously and indecently replaced at work from MRA after medical leave. Told August 30 (on day that I was released for return to work!) that deed was done against me on some undisclosed previous date; now scrambling for new employer when all summer had been telling them I'd come back in August! I have $4,000 in out of pocket expense not covered for the treatment and the March 19 emergency surgery and trying to maintain till working again (soon, chances are!)

Why else should you care? Especially strangers? I volunteer for causes for education, science, and for humanity's sake all over Illinois. Even in my occasional film work, I seek projects that promote good will and understanding. I feel certain that I have more work to accomplish and stories to tell, be it my fate and karma, in whatever years are left to me.
