The Lizzie Rose Music Room is a live music venue in Tuckerton,NJ. which seats 50 people.We are a New Jersey non-profit organization . We have been presenting live music concerts since September 2014.Over the past year we have presented a variety of musical genres such as blues, folk, bluegrass, country and rock . Thanks to your past support we have been able to present artists including Violette, Selwyn Birchwood, Whiskey Shivers,,Steve Katz, Davina & The Vagabonds, GuyDavis, Marcia Ball,Joe Louis Walker and many artists that likely wouldn't have come to our area otherwise. We also showcase local and rising talent.
My name is Lou Reichert and I am the music coordinator for the Lizzie Rose Music Room. I've taken your handshakes and listened to your comments at every show over the past year. We have been extremely lucky so far with ticket sales, great artists and our local sponsor base. Now, in our sophomore year , we find it necessary to ask for your help.
We are raising funds to help cover costs related to increasing overhead which includes room rental, insurance, utilities,and entertainers.
We are 100% volunteer staffed.
This campaign will lay the foundation for our Fall/Winter series of music presentations. Our goal is
to raise this money by 11/30/2015.
With your help we plan to fund our second year which will bring us to the the point of being able to apply for grants from The New Jersey State Council on the Arts,
Geraldine Dodge Foundation and other organizations which offer funding to bring live music to the public.
If you have been to the Lizzie Rose Music Room you are aware that we have created some truly memorable evenings. After every show the audience has had a chance to meet and greet the performers, which is rare in most larger venues.
