Liz's Top Surgery

Alright y'all here's the skinny--I've been battling with Aetna for the past two months to cover my chosen surgeon with in network benefits, but after a really soul smashing appeals process, I've been denied coverage unless I want to go to a surgeon who has just started performing this procedure...I just can't put my body at risk like that--I already have severe body dysphoria and a botched procedure would be devastating.
Dr. Mangubat is the best of the best and is a mere 45 minutes from my front door. He has 20+ years experience and is on the forefront of transgender surgery professional education. He is doing my surgery.

That said, he has greatly reduced his fees to their "Compassionate Care" rate, but it's still more than we had planned to pay. I've created this page because so many of my friends have asked for a way to help, and so here goes. The amount listed would buffer the extra costs now that Onyx and I are paying out of pocket.
