Update: On Sunday morning, January 21st, my mom ran through the finish line and into the arms of Jesus. Thank you again for your continued prayer for our family as well as financial support as there are still outstanding medical bills, memorial costs, and living costs for my dad as he is not working during this time.

My mom, Liz Morgan, needs our help. As many of you know, she’s been diagnosed with stage 4 advanced gastrointestinal cancer.
Doctors say there is no cure and no hope.
But she has hope. We have hope.
She has faith. We have faith.
Whether directly, or indirectly, we’ve all been blessed by My mom and her life of faithful service, support and prayer. We are so incredibly grateful for her. And we want her life to continue because this world is better with Liz Morgan in it.
Please continue to pray. Ultimately God is her healer and our faith must first be found in the source of all healing, Jesus Christ.
Next, please consider contributing to this campaign. Cancer is extremely expensive and ultimately finances will determine the level of care Liz receives. It’s really that simple.
Because surgery, chemo and radiation are not an option, her treatment plan consists of high quality nutrition, supplements, essential oils, and care by a local naturopathic doctor with a history of success in helping cancer patients. None of these are covered by insurance.
In addition, a 3-week stay at a specialized out-of-country cancer clinic where my mom will receive intensive therapy and 24/7 care will cost several thousand more dollars if resources are available.
Her treatment plan also depends on my dad, Frank’s full-time care. My dad has recently paused his working career to hold his wife’s hand through this entire trial, and to free up as much resource as possible, they’ve moved out of their house into a studio apartment, sold their car and many of their possessions.
For better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health…Perhaps never more than this moment, have the vow These two live birds have made to each other 40 years ago, been tested so deeply. Their unwavering love and commitment to one another is a testament to us all.
We know $75,000 is a big goal. But we have a big God. Everyone, linking arms together, on behalf of my mom and our family, can help make this miracle happen.
