Lizell is walking for sports

My names Lizell Heather and I am Buckden Primary Academy's sports coach. I have been working at the school for over 5 years now. I have seen a brilliant change in the children's passion for sport and their willingness to want more which leads on to why I am fundraising. 

On Friday 8th November I will be doing a 12 hour sponsored walk around Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire, starting at 6.00 am and finishing at 6.00 pm. The reason I am doing this is because I would like to introduce a variety of new sports at Buckden and for us to do that we need to purchase new equipment. Every penny raised from the walk will support our PE lessons and give the children more opportunities and experiences of sports outside the mainstream sports.
On this day the children are coming to school dressed as their sporting hero to support me whilst I am walking.  Some will be joining me throughout the day and others after school. 

Throughout the day I will be sending the school updates and have a live tracker so the children can see my progress.
