Living expenses until I find a job

I want to start by saying that I do not like making this move at all, but I feel it is the only thing I can do at the moment. I am embarrassed and quite humble as well to find myself in this position. The current economy is no help at all.
Here's the story, I willl try to keep it brief.
In 2012 my wife Kathy took ill and had to start missing work. Her problems escalated from having 5 heart bypasses from which she almost recovered intil she started having strokes and having a brain tumor (called a meningioma) removed. She also suffered from dementia during this time, and could not be left alone. Because of all those issues I eventually lost my job, Due to the economy and the tight job market, I have only been able to find short term employment over the past 4 years since Kathy passed.
Since that time i have had to use our savings, our 401k plans, and IRA's in addition to whatever pay I could earn to pay her medical bills and our living expenses. Since my last job ended, the last of the money in my bank account has been used up and I have no idea how my bills will be paid until I find another job.
I have been searching for a job faithfully and very hard. Despite applying for multiple jobs in my field (IT Support) I have only succeeded in getting two interviews and no offers in the past two and a half months. I have even started looking out of this area, and outside my field as well, but I am limited to jobs which do not require standing for extended periods, crwaling in enclosed spaces or bending due to back problems.
It is my intent to continue searching for suitable employment, even if it is at a lower pay than I need for the long term. Please be assured that I have cut expenses to the bone and am looking for ways to cut them further. At this time there is no room for any luxuries travel or recreation in my life, and all those have been cut out.
Meanwhile I am asking my friends if you can find it in your hearts to lend me a hand, Whatever amount you feel that you can contribute will be appreciated, and if you can not, or choose not to contribute, there will be no hard feelings from me.
