The live music community has been deeply affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Cancellations for all major music events and tours for the coming months have left artists, musicians, audio/playback engineers, techs, tour managers, production managers and staffing all in an unprecedented financial situation.
Behind every performance are many hard working individuals (usually acting as independent contractors or independently-owned businesses) whose commitment to the cultural experience of live music requires them to rely on periodic gigs for income throughout the year.
We at Electronic Creatives with our partners saw an opportunity to create awareness for the impact this crisis is having on our industry. As a growing network of audio/playback engineers, producers, musicians, etc., this fund will give 100% of proceeds to the LA-based music community that we comprise and that we have been a part of for the past 10+ years.
Please, if you are a patron of live music events with ability to give, or a member of the music community with ability to give, help us make this fund as impactful as possible for as many qualified individuals affected by this crisis as possible. Donate today or share with your community or someone in need.
