Sarah King--YWAM Media Track DTS

Youth With A Mission has been a dream of mine for years now. I never thought that I would get the chance to do a program like this. But, God has given me the opportunity to participate in it this spring.

I go to YWAM Charlotte in March, where I will be studying in the media track. I will complete a 3 month lecture phase in Charlotte and from there I will go on to another country to do the outreach phase (the country has not yet been determined). I am excited about wherever God may send me, on the outreach and in the future.

My passion for documentary filmmaking started in high school. I caught God's passion for justice and decided that there had to be some way to create an impact in areas that have been struggling for solutions. In 2011 I had the opportunity to go to Belize where, for the first time, I got to document a missions trip. I would love to learn more about how to use the skills and talents that God has given me for His glory.

I am praying and trusting in God for the fees of the lecture phase and additional costs. The total cost estimates to about $8,000

The things covered in this cost are:
-Lecture phase (and conference fees): ~$3590

-Airfare: $2400

-Outreach: $2000
-hiking backpack: ~$150
