This GoFundMe page has been set up on behalf of Shane and her children but her friends who, rather than sending flowers and other gifts of condolences saw an opportunity to help cover the costs associated with Ivars farewell. We are so incredibly grateful to all of the donors for the generous and thoughtful contributions. All funds raised are directly going towards supporting Shane and their children through this process and funds are being sent directly to Shane from GoFundMe.

We are all absolutely devastated, the loss of such an incredible husband & father, who was like 3 people wrapped up in one, a real life “SUPERHERO” passed away from a heart attack suddenly, leaving behind his beautiful family.
Ivars was the most incredible father and husband and devoted his entire life to making his families lives fun.
As he said often, “you must live everyday as if it is your last”, and he did that 3 times over!!!
The love, passion and dedication at being the best father shows in all his amazing videos he took on a daily basis. Ivars made the “Salgalis Family Adventures” YouTube Channel, because he told them - “you know why I’ve made this Channel? So when I’m 83 years old, in an old person’s home, I can sit and watch our life for hours!”
Please hug and kiss your children and loved ones and as his wish for everyone was to “live everyday like it’s your last & most of all, have FUN !!!
