Treatment for Little Joe

This is hard to share ... and hard to ask for the help ... but it is necessary. This beautiful, smart, kind and funny boy has had a very hard year. When we moved from the Pacific Northwest to West Texas he began to struggle and despite efforts to be well his struggles have increased.
Little Joe to family .... Joe to some friends ... Frank to some friends ... has been struggling with serious mental health issues. A huge blessing came this past month when he was accepted into a facility in Houston, TX that provides more intensive and longer term help. They specialize in Joe's specific issues, have a school on site and have a family component so that he needs can be better met at home once he is discharged.
Insurance is good and standard .... it will cover 80% of the cost of the facility. However, it is expensive so the 20% that will be left and owed every 25 days will be around $3,300. Already family has generously helped with the first day cost of $750 as well as the cost of a professional transport team that was needed due to his issues; which totaled $2,000. This does not include the bills from the hospital he just spent 29 days at in the month of August.
Joe arrived safely to the facility this Monday. This means that the frist payment of approximately $3,300 will be due October 13th. This does not include travel costs for parents to attend weekly visitation.
Again, it is so hard to ask for this ... and to share this ... but honestly Joe needs this treatment ... and the family cannot do this alone.
All funds received will go directly towards the cost of his treatment. Any left over funds will be put aside for future treatment should that be a need.
