Little Man needs emergency surgery

I am absolutely heartbroken and devastated to tell you that one of our family cats, the absolute apple of my sister’s eye, has been struck by a car. He is just over 1 year old, he is still a baby. Earlier this week he got out of the house and had been missing all day and night. He was tirelessly searched and called for. And then last night he came limping to the front door, shrieking in pain, bloody tail and clearly emaciated. He was rushed to an emergency vet where we were told he was likely hit by a car, and currently has a broken femur as well as a broken leg and would need emergency surgery immediately. And that it would cost over $4,500. When we already scrounged together all the money we could to pay for the already $500 emergency vet bill. The vet will absolutely not work with us on payment plans and we don’t qualify for the care credit. They gave us the option to pay for the surgery up front immediately or put the cat to sleep. Which for us is absolutely not an option. My sister adopted this cat and his sister when they were just a few weeks old. The longest he has been separated from his sister was an hour while they were being spayed and neutered. She does not know life without him and has been crying out for him ever since he was missing. We are not ready to let this sweet angel go. Please please help us collect the money for the surgery he needs to recover and live a long and happy life. No donation is too small. I will do whatever it takes to do everything possible to help our sweet angel. Please if you have even just a few dollars to spare, myself and my family would be eternally grateful.
