Little Lewins Recovery

As many of you know, Little Lewin was in an accident. He has a sever concussion, a fracture in his temporal bone, a couple small brain bleeds, some swelling and some bruising. His team of surgeons are optimistic that he will make a full recovery, but it will take time and be a slow process. We will have to take it day by day. He has a lot of limitations right now and has to be monitored closely as well as be on anti seizure medication. His dad will have to return to work soon as he already had to take a week off while we were in the hospital. That leaves me to take on the responsibility of staying home with him until he is healed and cleared to return to normal activities, as well as get him back and fourth to Baltimore for his follow up appointments with his surgeons and concussion clinics. Which of course means I will be out of work until further notice. His father and I are not typically the type of people to ask for help, but right now we’re calling on our friends and family to help us. We don’t expect anyone to donate, but if you can, we would greatly appreciate it. A friend has also set up a meal train for us as well so that’s another way to help.
