 My last name is Bell. It comes with a sense of strength and true endurance, qualities that I have received from my father. He will now be faced with the greatest test of these traits that I so admire. Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center has confirmed that he has squamous cell carcinoma that has metastasized into his bones, stage 4. I believe in order to truly fight your battle; you must know everything about your opponent. We are being diligent in understanding his diagnosis and deciding what path we will take to conquer this cancer. The cancer they say is incurable. We will fight with determination to prove them wrong.

I’m raising money so that he can begin his path to save his life. If you know my father you know he has worked very hard his entire life for everything he has accomplished. If you don’t know my father, despite hurtles he faced from being part of a large blue color family, he built our family home from the ground up. He has owned a small mechanic shop, in our hometown of Conway NH, which caters to friends and people in need. He is the first to lend a hand to help and the last to ask for handouts. He along with my mother has worked hard to instill good values in me. The most important of these values has always been:”In order to have good friends, you need to be a good friend.” I have many great people in my life that are a direct result of this truth my father taught me.

This message is designed to help him in his fight to keep the life that he has built.

Being his daughter in our tiny family, it’s my job to now show him what a group of caring individuals can accomplish. I will not let him to fight alone.
