Lisa's Cancer Battle

My sister Lisa has been undergoing chemo for the past 6 months. Last week she had the tumor and her spleen  removed and part of her stomach and pancreas.   She is currently in the ICU. She is stable but trying to gain her strength back. She will continue chemo for another six months. It will be a hard fought journey for her.

Many have asked how you can help my dear sister. I ask you to continue to pray for her full recovery. In addition I ask that you donate the price of a cup of coffee to help with her finances.

She has not worked in six months and will not be able to work for another six months... So your generous donation of a single cup of coffee will provide her with a small financial cushion.  

We all have an abundance of blessings in our lives and through this small gesture you can help my sister.

My sister is a strong, self-sufficient woman with a big personality and a love of life. She is kind, hard-working and generous.   Her smile fills the room.

My sister is a fighter. In 2008 in the great recession, she was laid off from the City of Sarasota where she worked for 25 years. Two years later she foreclosed on her home becasue she could not find work.  She has fought and struggled to rise up and last year she bought a small home after many years of hard work.

So I am not asking for a hand out but a hand up.  Your support will mean the world to my sister.

Again, just a small donation - the price of a cup of coffee (or any amount you can afford) -  will provide a small cushion for Lisa.
