Lisa Schmitt Livestock Scholarship

Lisa Schmitt was passionate about teaching youth about showing  livestock and animal agriculture. Ever since her eldest daughter started FFA in 2006, Lisa dedicated her life to  the youth livestock industry. In 2016 she was diagnosed with cancer which did not stop her from being involved in their show goat business, J&S Livestock, and volunteering her time to the 56 Rancher's 4-H. After her passing on March, 7 2018, the family decided to continue her legacy by starting the 'Mama' Lisa Schmit Memorial Scholarship. This developing foundation will continue to help youth raise livestock by providing scholarships for individuals who may have financial challenges that keep them from raising livestock projects. We have an opportunity to get this project started for this year's fair season! Help us make a difference and keep 'Mama' Lisa's legacy alive for years to come!
