Lisa’s Battle with Cancer

As you may have heard, our beloved Lisa has been diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer recently. With a long history of GI illnesses and auto-immune disease, a cancer diagnosis is an expected end to a miserable journey.

Originally, Lisa decided to let the disease run its course. But, after a recent successful surgery and a more hopeful diagnosis (downgraded to Stage 2), she's ready to fight.

We know she will need help of every kind to beat this cancer. We're talking the mundane: housework, errands, and trips to the doctor. And the extraordinary: emotional, spiritual and financial support.

Right now Lisa is in New Orleans trying to make it on her own. Since that takes up all of her time lately, holding a job is out of the question.

She wants to move back to Savannah, GA where her devoted tribe is anxiously awaiting her arrival. Housing, transportation and TLC are lined up.

What she needs now is the money to get back home and pay medical expenses.
