Lisa Manko Chiari Malformation

My wife and I have been friends with Lisa for more than 30 years. Lisa is a hilarious, kind and fun-loving person with 2 young sons and a supportive husband, David. I can tell you from firsthand experience that Lisa and David are the first people to help others in any way that they can.
Lisa was diagnosed in 2000 with Chiari Malformation, which is a condition that causes the brain to be pushed down into the spinal column, resulting in worsening balance and coordination and other serious neurologic changes over time. Lisa has endured 2 major, marathon brain and spinal cord surgeries to try and correct this. She has been left with serious physical deficits, including very poor balance, numbness, weakness and daily headaches. She has never complained. Not once. The medical bills have already been astronomical. David and Lisa have sacrificed and paid these bills, but another surgery looms on October 18th, 2017. Though we can't help her physical recovery, providing her with financial assistance would boost her spirit as she fights back.
