Lisa Gonzales Ortiz Cancer Funds

If you have ever met this beautiful soul, then you know how selfless, caring, loving and giving Lisa is. In July of 2012 Lisa was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma Insitu breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy and reconstruction. In July of 2014 her breast cancer returned and had spread to her lymph nodes. She underwent a year and a half of Chemo-therapy and 33 radiation treatments. Her cancer finally went into remission in October of 2015. On December 9th of 2016 she found out that her cancer returned and had metastasized in the meninges ( lining of the brain) and also her bones throughout her body. She began having radiation treatments to her brain and various parts of her body in January. She has had a total of 27 radiation treatments so far. She is also currently also undergoing chemo therapy. Even with insurance the cost of treatment is astronomical. Between PET scans, hospital bills, medication cost the financial strain is something that she and her husband John have had to bare on top of the battle that she is already fighting. Whatever amount that you can donate will help ease the financial burdens they are facing. I cannot think of another human being who deserves all the love and support in this world. She has always gone out of her way to help others, she is a North Star for many as she shines so bright and has touched so many lives.
