Lisa and Martin Shifflett

Hi, On behalf of my fellow classmates and friends of Lisa and Martin Shifflett, I am leading the cause to raise funds for them. They have lost their home in North Port, Florida due to Hurricane Ian. The roof was initially blown off and subsequently the storm has damaged and destroyed what was left remaining.

The money raised will go directly to Lisa and Martin so that they can rebuild their lives. They will need funds for clothing, food and a place to reside. We are being told that they are currently in their car. As more information comes forth, I will share it.

9/29/22, 2:30pm: We have heard from Lisa’s sister that they are looking for an Airbnb in the area…Lisa said, “We are alive and homeless”. As well, phone service is intermittent. I’m sure they are still in survivor mode and the enormity of all of this has yet to sink in. I know that they will be speechless when they realize the compassion and heartfelt concern we all share during this very trying time for them.
