The Lipscomb University Cheerleading Squad sends you cheerful greetings. This season, our program is taking a giant leap of faith into the competitive arena of collegiate cheerleading. In January, we plan to represent Lipscomb University at the UCA College Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida. The UCA College Cheerleading Championship is the most prestigious competition in the country, and we are excited for this challenging opportunity! We have the potential to bring national recognition to our amazing University.
We want to thank you for what ever role you might have played, or are still playing in building our cheerleading program to what it is today. We appreciate the friendships this program has allowed, as well as the encouragement that comes along with cheering on Our Team.
Lipscomb Athletics has taken on the theme of “Our Team” as a way to support each and every student athlete on campus, as well as all Lipscomb students, and the Lipscomb community. We also consider YOU as part of Our Team.
The Lipscomb University Cheerleading program has designated the 2014-2015 season to Dedication and Hard Work. We know with those two ingredients, this program can achieve success as we enter the competitive arena of collegiate cheerleading.
Most importantly, we ask for your prayers to represent Christ and Lipscomb in everything we do as a cheerleading program. We always desire to be positive ambassadors for Lipscomb, to create an awesome Game Day experience, but in order to take this next step in competing, we are going to need your help!
The expenses that come with competing at the collegiate level are extensive; between the costs for travel arrangements and competition fees, there is a lot of Hard Work to be done, but we are Dedicated to accomplishing this goal of raising $10,000 by NOVEMBER 15th, 2014. In order to make this exciting opportunity a reality, meeting this goal must happen!
