All students at Catcote Academy and Catcote Futures have learning difficulties, Autism, social, emotional, mental health difficulties, communicative difficulties and/or life limiting conditions.
The aim of Parents and Friends of Catcote is to fund resources and experiences beyond the curriculum, and to give our students opportunities to express themselves and break down the barriers that hold them back.
We live in Hartlepool, one of the most deprived areas in the UK, where opportunities are limited and funding is sparse.
We do what we can but we want to do more to inspire our amazing students.
We have created a wonderful LipDub video to raise awareness and raise some funds to go towards future projects.
As you can see, our students who struggle with so many things, had so much fun making the video. We want to give them more opportunities to do this.
Money raised will go towards school trips, residentials, special events and vital resources.
