I saved Link from the streets when he was only a week old. His vet said there was no way he would live, that he was too sick, it would be best that I put him down. I told her that he was a fighter, I could tell. I have had him for 8 years.
Link now has stomatits. Its a disease that affects the mouth. It is a very painful inflammation in a cats mouth and gums. This affects a cats eating, sleeping, meowing and overall behavior.
Basically Link is allergic to the tarter/plaque that is in his mouth causing him to have a severe allergic reaction. He gets so bad that he has to have steroid shots and antibiotic shots every 2 weeks and a dental cleaning every three months. He chokes on his food, he can no longer meow, he drools constantly.. He has been affect by this disease for over a year.

For long term help, Link would need to have every tooth removed to prevent the growth of the tarter and plaque. He will be toothless.
The funds will help pay for his surgury, as well as the expenses for his recovery period. It is pretty costly because he will need a specialist to do it. Cats teeth are very brittle when it comes to removing them, so if the tiniest bit of root is left, the stomatitis won't go away...
Since he is in so much pain, I would love to get his teeth removed ASAP. I'm hoping to have the funds within the next two weeks, just to ease his pain.
