Linford Davis Family Dixie Fire Support

UPDATE AUG 1st - Wade and Jessica and kids house is for sure burnt to the ground. They are currently evacuated and staying with friends in Quincy. Majority of the funds will go to them to help house them and take care of their immediate needs until they can figure out next steps.

Austin and Bobbies house was spared but will need work getting water and power back to it. In the meantime they need a water tank and a generator. The funds will go towards setting this up. They have been evacuated to Chico  but hoping to make it home sometime next week.

Lori and Keith have heard that their home in butterfly is safe. They are currently evacuated to the coast with some dear friends taking a much needed break from the stress and smoke.

UPDATE: Monday 3:30 Just 26th We just got word that Austin and Bobbies house may still be standing. Wade and Jessica who live right next door were not so lucky.

 

Like so many families in the world right now, our family has been gravely affected by global warming. Currently Two of our families houses are confirmed burned to the ground and we have word that a third is most likely gone. Our entire family from Plumas county is currently evacuated and on the run from the fire. Anyone that knows us knows we are all animal people so on top of the 13 family members currently without a home, there are dogs, cats, horses and goats that are all displaced with our family. What a mess. But it’s in times like this that the power of community helps get us through and we are hoping that community will surround our family. 

 

We are raising funds for the Linford/Davis families Auston and Bobbie + Wade and Jessica and all their children and animals who have lost their homes and all their belongings in the devastating Dixie fire. Can you imagine overnight finding not just you and your family homeless, but also your whole extended family too? It’s just unimaginable. But it’s in times like these our faith must get stronger. 

 

The families are still in the very early stages of evacuation and are still finding safe places to land. They are currently spread out throughout Northern California with little else, than the clothes on their backs and thank god, eachother. 

 

We are praying we can alleviate some of their immediate stress and provide emergency housing, food & clothes, for them, their children and animals. We are also praying for a little extra to help them down the road, as we know this will be a long road of recovery for our family. But we are so thankful we have each-other and that at this point the whole Davis/Linford family is safe. 

 

We are so appreciative of any amount you can spare to help us and thank you so much for caring about us. We are a wild and loving bunch, and we know we will get through this with your help.
