Help A Veteran Realize a Dream

Linda Rhodes is an incredible person who has spent her life putting the needs of others above her own.  She's served her country in the army in Germany and has volunteered over 20 years in various capacities.  She's served others through  the Salvation Army, Feed My Starving Children, area food banks, Evident Life Church Thrift Store, been a relief house parent and served the homeless. She's always one of the first to give, expecting nothing in return. She is a cancer survivor and an overcomer. Always looking for ways to serve and help others.  Now it is time to help her!  

Her living situation has become progressively less tolerable.  Her mobility has become less stable due to a disability, which makes activities most of us take for granted (for example, walking) extremely difficult.  Her dream is to own and live in a place that can be modified to meet her physical needs.  She would love to be able to get in and out of her car and into her home without the everyday struggle that it has become. We are working hard along with Linda to make her dream come true!

Will you join us in helping Linda Rhodes get a home of her own? We have a team of volunteers who have been working on a home for Linda, but it takes money to buy materials and hire contractors including plumbers, electricians, and other tradesmen, whose expertise is needed for this project.
