Linda "Red" Burns Homegoing Services
My grandmother Linda Burns is and was a phenomenal woman. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother,bes friend, counselor, auntie, cousin, foster mom & so much more. She faught a courageous battle with ovarian cancer for a little over 11 years. Unfortunately , cancer won again. We may have lost her in the flesh but she will forever remain in our hearts. My grandmother lived a prosperous and fulfilling life. She sought after the finer things in life and carried herself like a true queen. She was humble and kind. She was talented and beautiful. The time has now come to lay this beautiful Queen to rest. . At just the age of 60, She was still full of life and her eyes still had a twinkle of shine. However, things happen in life that we sometimes don't plan for. After talking to several different sources the most inexpensive way to lay this queen to rest cost a little over 10,000 dollars and thats mainly the labor. The family is asking for our friends and family to help us lay our grandmother & mother to rest. We appreciate all donations big or small. We would like to have the repass catered as she has touched so many lives, we expect the outpour of people to be present in her memory. If anyone knows of any places that have beautiful resting stones for the dearly departed please reach out to my inbox and I will further the information to the person(s) in charge. At this time, we ask that all donations be submitted no later than August 5th 2017 due to the deadline to have the funeral expenses paid 48 hours prior to the service.
