Lincoln the mini Dachshund

Lincoln is a miniature dachshund, he was born on the 2nd July, he appeared to be healthy, however on reaching four weeks old he started to be sick every time he fed from his mother. We have seen our vets to try different diagnosis and treatments but nothing has worked. An X-ray has found Lincoln is suffering from a condition called Persistant Right Aortic Arch also called Vascular Ring Anomaly, which restricts his ability to feed and digest food properly, both solids and milk. He suffers rapid breathing and pain just before regurgitation. Our vets have found a specialist veterinary surgeon, however we would need funds for the initial CT scan and surgery to follow.  With your help with funding, Lincoln would be able to have the happy life he deserves. Lincoln is currently six weeks old, and our vet says he’ll need to be twelve weeks old before receiving surgery around the end of September.  Lincoln means the world to us, we would love for him to live a normal happy life with us and his mum and dad. Our estimation is the total bill could reach around £6000 for the CT scan, surgery and after care, but with the current care we are giving him we are unable to financially support the surgery so we’ve turned to GoFundMe for help. He is such a happy playful little chap, but is very sick soon after feeding which puts him at a constant risk of pneumonia!  Thank you for your time to read about our little Lincoln, and if you are able to make a donation of any amount, this will be gratefully received.
