Lina's Cochlear Implant Surgery

As most of you may already know; we recently finished a series of testing to determine the full extent of Lina's hearing loss. Well we finally received the final report which only confirmed what Lina's doctor and we already knew. Lina has what's called sensory neuro hearing loss in both ears. The most recent testing has shown that she hears absolutely nothing. 
That's been a bit of a struggle for us to digest if I'm being completely honest but we know the Lord has a bigger plan and Lina has a special testimony.
We have been thanking God that there are some other options for our sweet little Lina. After speaking with her doctor and considering the results etc, We are moving forward with bilateral cochlear implants on July 18th.
I encourage each of you reading this to research a little about cochlear implants. It's amazing technology and this is Lina's opportunity to have surgery that will allow her to hear once the devices are activated.
We are so excited and can't wait!
Why the fundraiser?
While the insurance should cover the surgery there are still a lot of out of pocket costs that we are responsible for as well. Such as doctor fees, hospital fees, copay and deductibles. As you can imagine, this type of surgery can be pretty costly.
We love you all and ask for most importantly your prayers over these next few months. This will be a huge adjustment for us but we know who will be carrying us through it all, God.
