Lily Rankin's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Brewer and my friends are helping their sweet daughter fight a battle no child should ever have to. Their lives have been turned upside down in a matter of minutes, and they need every bit of help they can stay afloat while their daughter fights cancer.

Nicky and Daniel's 21 month-old daughter Lily Rankin went to the ER on Sunday, April 28th for stomach pain and was rushed to Children's Hospital at Anschutz Campus when doctors found a very large mass in her abdomen. They have been living at Children's Hospital since Sunday, and Lily has been diagnosed with a High-Risk Neuroblastoma. Due to how fast the tumor is growing, her treatment starts today, May 4, 2024, and she is set to begin an 18-month battle with cancer. The doctors' goal is to reduce the size of the tumor over the coming months, and then surgically remove it once it is small enough. Lily is a trooper, but she has a long fight ahead of her. For the coming months, they will staying at Children's Hospital every few weeks for anywhere from 3-7 days for chemotherapy. It will be difficult, but this is their new "normal."

Nicky and Daniel are worried for the health of their beautiful little girl. In situations like this, costs don't stop rising just because they have to focus on their daughter's fight with cancer.
