Lilian Forkners Funeral Fund

It is with a heavy heart I must announce that my dear friend Lilian Forkner aged 80 sadly gained her angel wings on Sunday 3rd May 2020 at 3:45am.
Many of you will know that Lily lived in Liddon Road for the majority of her life, up until she was sadly moved to a care home in Thurrock, much to her disgust as she adored her home and the people around it, but sadly Lily could no longer take care of herself.
We all have many fond memories of Lily. Just one being her love for the Queen and every year decorating her entire house. Many of you may remember seeing various articles in the Newham Recorder. You may have also passed her speed walking to her local Church services.
This incredible patriotic woman had no family other than myself. I visited numerous times each week, and her only wish was to be cremated at her home town and laid to rest with her Mother and Father.
However once Lilys nursing fees were payed for unfortunately she did not have anything left. I have set this page up to hopefully grant Lilys one and only wish.
As it stands Lily will not be getting a funeral and will be buried by Thurruck council in Grays.
I need to raise £3,000 in order to give her the send off she deserves.
Any donation would be highly appreciated for the best friend that I have lost.
