Grandma Jacqy' s Fund

Our lovely sister Jacqy became a grandmother for the first time on November 12th, a mere 10 days before she passed away. Words cannot express how delighted Jacqy was to become a grandma to baby Desirae; and how many plans she had already made.  Supporting baby Desirae Elizabeth and her daughter Janniqua was at the top of the list.  Janniqua was one term away from completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and getting ready to take her first job.  Then Covid-19 hit and her clinical rotation was put on hold.  Janniqua suffered through hyperemis gravidarum for her entire pregnancy and then was hospitalized with postpartum complications.  Fortunately, mom and baby are now physically doing well, but it is neither safe nor realistic for Janniqua to return to school or work for 6 months. She has suffered an immense loss and the family needs helps with the essential necessities as they navigate through this crisis.  In honor of Grandma Jacqy, please help us to support Janniqua and baby Desirae.
