LIFT Kids: Haiti Missions Trip

Hello! Brian and I pray that this letter finds you well. We want to share with you a wonderful missions opportunity God has presented to us. During March 13th - 20th, 2018 we will be going to Haiti with a team from our church, New Beginnings Church Cambridge.
Our one-week trip will focus on ministering to the children of Haiti by partnering with LIFT Ministries led by Boss and Missy Petit. The purpose of our trip is threefold:
First, our primary goal is to make Jesus known among the children of Haiti. We will do this by bringing Bibles to them, feeding them, playing with them, and ministering the love of God to them.
Second, we want to be a blessing to the missionaries we partner with, Boss and Missy, and the entire LIFT Ministries team. We will help organize ministry time, as well as assist in any building projects they may have. We want to serve them and be a support to them in any way we can.
Lastly, we will be allowing God to work in our lives through the personal enrichment that comes from this type of a mission trip. We know each of us will be impacted in a way that will not allow us to stay the same. We believe that whatever God teaches us through this incredible opportunity will shape the way we minister the gospel when we come back to the US.
We are excited about the opportunity and experience that lie ahead. We hope you see the value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. We need to raise $1,000 each by March 2018. If you can support us in a financial way, we would be very grateful. And, most importantly, we also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry in this country. Without prayer, nothing will happen.
