Life-saving surgery cost for Fiona

To know Jeanie Raven is to know of her love for her little 5-lb chocolate chihuahua, Fiona, (aka "Fi") who can be found at the heels, lap or sitting shot gun in the car wherever they go.
The inseparable duo have been together for 4 years, and Fiona has given Jeanie unconditional love and moral support as she has gone into our community helping the homeless, victims of abuse and being an advocate for the most vulnerable.
This past Thursday Fiona awoke with hind leg paralysis that had struck both legs by Friday. Jeanie knew something was terribly wrong and was urgently referred to a vet specialist. It was thankful they got there in time because Fiona's intervertebral disc had exploded into her spinal column and required emergency surgery to save her life.
Jeanie begged the vet to perform the surgery knowing the intense cost estimated to be $10K-$11K was only a secondary concern to saving her best friend's life. She was able to open a Care credit card to charge an initial $4K, but she will have to come up with the remainder of the cost before the vet will release Fiona back to her. As Fifi is slowly recovering from her traumatic surgery, Jeanie is scrambling to find the remaining $7K to get her Fi home.
People know Jeanie for her huge heart, obedience to God's voice, and fearless desire to follow Him wherever He leads. The friendship and support she has given to so many has been invaluable, and for some, life saving. But putting first the needs of others is not a financially lucrative endeavor and she has sacrificed profit for people.
Though Jeanie would be first to seek out our prayers, she would never be comfortable requesting financial assistance. So we are initiating this fundraiser on her behalf so that we can show her a little bit of the love and support she has always extended to others by getting her beloved Fiona back in her arms, healthy again, so they can continue on as the inseparable duo.
