Lifesaving Heart Surgery for Dana Hartgraves

We are asking for support for medical expenses for Dana Hartgraves, our much beloved Mama, Nana, daughter, sister and wife. Her love for her family and her faith have no bounds; she needs all our prayers and support right now.

On December 18th she suffered from a tear in her aorta with internal bleeding, and was care-flighted for life-saving open heart surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. We have been told by the medical staff that most people with this condition do not even make it to the hospital, much less survive the surgery required. She is now in the ICU, and while she has made miraculous progress in the past several days, the road to recovery will be long and expensive. We are thankful for the expert care she is receiving, but unfortunately Dana does not have health insurance. The costs of her life-saving procedures, stay in the ICU, and ongoing recovery and rehabilitation will be immense.
