Lifelong Helper Needs Help
Donation protected
Hello.
My name is Chris. Last Sunday, I lost my mom, Joyce Whitman. She succumbed to a disease called Myotonic Dystrophy at the age of 64. She spent her whole life helping others in the nursing field, including 25 years as a visiting nurse in Sheboygan.
Now she needs a little bit of help herself. She passed without leaving any will or paperwork behind to help me plan a proper funeral. Her life insurance policy had long since lapsed when things got tough after my dad passed away in 2012. If my mom, or someone like her ever helped you when you were in need, I hope this in opportunity to give back a little.
I am able to cover the mausoleum she picked out for herself and my dad, but I was unprepared for the pure expense of the funeral as I had incorrectly assumed there was at least one life insurance policy left, and there was none.
Please donate if you are in a position to, every bit helps give her a proper send off. If you have never heard of Myotonic Dystrophy, please visit the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation website to learn more about this rare, but devastating disease.
Thank you for your time, and any help you can offer.
