Life-changing surgery for Julius

At the end of February my family and I started fostering a beautiful, 10 yr old French Bulldog who's owner wasn't able to continue to care for him. After his first visit with our vet we discovered that 60% of his teeth were rotted and needed to be removed, he suffered from a slight case of  pneumonia. He would also need two surgical procedures that would help Julius’ ability to breathe normally,  swallow his food and keep it down and actually sleep throughout the night with out choking and gagging. He is incredibly uncomfortable and we have to soften his food for a couple hours for him to be able to eat anything. Even when he does eat, he often throws his food back up since he can't really chew it. Additionally, since he is a French Bulldog, he has a very hard time breathing through his nose and throat. It has caused a lot of restless and uncomfortable nights for him and us. The oxygen deprivation has really affected his energy but never his lovable personality. The vets need to open up with nasal passages and remove some tissue around his vocal chords and throat to improve his breathing which would help his ability to swallow his food. The vet also needs to proform a full dental and removal all his rotten teeth. These surgeries will help him have the best quality of life we can give him in the last few years of his life. He has had a really tough time and we would like for him to be at his happiest for the next couple years. He means a lot to us and has quickly become a part of our family , both at home and at work. Our other dog, Bella, loves him very much especially since he will cuddle with her all day.
