Life Saving Vet Care for Polaris

Hello and thank you to any reading this. Some of you will know me from the MorphMarket community. My name is Ashley, and I am here to ask for help on behalf of myself and my snake Polaris. It has been nearly two whole years since I received her from her breeder in 2020, and since then she has never been healthy from the respiratory infection she arrived with. The vet I have taken her too no longer has my trust and confidence, due to them clearing her health multiple times only for her to still be sick. However, I am unable to afford care for her from the vet I now have to go to, which is all the way in Illinois.
I have even reached out to a friend on MorphMarket to see if they could take Polaris and get her the care she needs, but they are struggling financially as well. No one in my personal life is able or willing to help, and I am out of other options. This is where asking for your help comes in. The amount I am asking for might be on the lower end of what I need in the long run, depending on what could truly be wrong with Polaris. She will need x-rays and a few tests from this vet, and then will likely need prolonged treatments or even surgery. There is no telling what could truly be causing such a long-term problem for her, though I know she probably already had this for years with her breeder given what they had told me after I received her. As much as it pains me to not be able to do anything for her myself, I have to make sure we have money for food and gas with what little money I am able to keep after bills.
