Life Saving Kidney Transplant

Four years ago I was placed on dialysis to keep me alive due to kidney failure caused by a genetic disorder called Poly Cystic Kidney Disease. Because of this, I am required to connect to a PD Dialysis machine for 11 Hours every night, which causes me to wake up every two hours because of drain pain. Being on Dialysis also significantly interferes with my everyday routine, as I have to be at home before a specific time so that I can finish my dialysis before having to take care of the responsibilities waiting for me the following day. Despite all of this, I have continued working all four years that I have been on dialysis to provide for my family of four. I am on the transplant waiting list in California but my main listing is in Arizona. The reason I am on the transplant waiting list in Arizona is because the waitlist is years shorter and it gives me the best chance to get a kidney before my health turns for the worst. I’m doing this campaign because after the surgery, I will be unable to work for 4 to 6 weeks. To make sure my body does not reject the kidney, I will have to stay in Arizona during that time. I will need to pay for a flight to and from Arizona, for wife and I, who will be my caretaker. During the time of surgery and recovery in Arizona, I will be responsible for medical bills, food, room and board, and daily travel expenses. In addition that, I will have expenses accumulating for me at home in Los Angeles where my children will be. Any donation will be helpful and appreciated.
