Lifeflight Josh Camacho

Donation protected
On Tuesday, August 22nd, Josh Camacho, son of Angel and Danny Camacho, was hiking along the Middlepoint Trail in southern Columbia County with his girlfriend and her father. They were about two or three miles in when a rock gave.

He fell approximately 15 feet to its rock base, knocking himself unconscious and suffering numerous head injuries.

Emergency responders determined that attempting to carry Josh would be too risky. They contacted LifeFlight to send a helicopter.

There was no place to land the helicopter safely, so LifeFlight had the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office contact Montana-based Two Bears Air Rescue to send a helicopter equipped with a winch.

Two Bears Air picked him up safely with its winch and transferred him to a LifeFlight helicopter, which took him to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho.

Our family will be very grateful for any help with Josh's LifeFlight transportations, future transportations, medications, and surgeries.

Josh will be needing reconstructive surgery in two weeks. Any financial help for this upcoming surgery will be much appreciated. We would like to thank everyone for their generosity in advance.
