Introduction
This project aims to provide 24 free online book summaries for millennials (folks aged around 18-30) that will help them become wiser and more successful. The books are in three categories:
1. Understanding society (world history, philosophy, economics, morality, politics, logical thinking, world progress)
2. Personal success (habits, life planning, thinking big, personal finances, personality, emotionality, etiquette, relationships)
3. Professional success (leadership, entrepreneurship, marketing, business management, difficult conversations, negotiation)

The final list of books can be found here . Note, the difference in American and Australian lists is just the personal finances book (book 5) based on different tax systems.

Why is a curated list of 24 books needed?
1. Millenial's aren't well read. Google/Wikipedia have the world's information available so that younger folks haven't read it themselves. And they aren't listening to their elders anymore.
2. School/university isn't teaching this info. Formal education is too specialised and niche. Life is becoming more complicated and folks need to know this information at an younger age.
3. Book summary sites are overwhelming. Popular sites compete on having the most books summaries. One has 600+, another 720+, and one has 1150+ at last count. Young folks starting out need a curated list to get started with.
Why do we care that millenials get this information?
1. They will be our future leaders. Edmund Burke’s famously noted that society is a partnership between the living, the dead, and the unborn in preserving and enhancing societies institutions. Today’s young adults will have their time as society’s leaders, however their ability to excel in this role will depend on their acquired knowledge and wisdom. The Eruditable aims to provide an essential foundation for our future leaders.
2. It will accelerate their personal/professional success. Learning this information gives them some of the wisdom of 40/50year olds, whilst they are still in their 20s. We want this for our own children, as well as for the generation as a whole.

Our preliminary launch website is at www.eruditeable.com. This website provided an initial list of 24 books which has since been updated. The website lacked the 2000-3000 word book summaries that provided free value to this group (previously they had to buy the books to get the value).

This video introduces the 24 books.
Where the money will be spent:
-Building a new website to support 24 book summaries, each 2000-3000 words.
-Integrating website analytics and social media linkages to enable page sharing.
-Integrating email capture and blog functionality to enable building a subscriber list to continue engagement with millenials regular blog posts.
-Procuring a 12 month website maintenance service with a web management service to keep the website going.
-Integrating the 24 book summaries into a premium quality ebook to be provided to Kickstarter donors.
-Any excess funds will be used to develop 6-8 minute animation videos for each book based on the individual book summary.
