Lidia Acosta's Medical Fund

Cynthia and I met 9th grade through soccer, ever since we remained friends. Around a year ago, we became co workers. For over a month I have seen Cynthia take on so many roles through her mothers stay at the hospital. She juggles work, college and taking care of her two younger siblings ages 16 and 13. I truly admire her! She goes to work pulls a smile on her face, and gets her job done. No one would even know what she is going through. She makes sure that her siblings needs are met from having a meal to making sure they get to school. 

Cynthia's mother, Lidia Acosta, was rececntly diagnosed with a muscle disease called Dermatomyositis. This disease has completely taken over her body, with that being said she is not able to do very much.  Lidia was hospitalized in the Hospital in Springdale for 14 days before being transported to Little Rock where she has already spent a week. Jose Alvarado, Cynthia's dad, has not left his wifes side, he is also staying in Little Rock to be with Lidia. All funds raised will go towards medical expenses and the road to recovery (therpy). 

Any help is greatly appricated! Lets keep our prayers going. I hope that through this we can ease the pain of this wonderful family through this difficult time. Lets show our support to these three kids (Cynthia, Jessica & Jose) and let them know that although they don't have both parents nearby they have us the community (former classmate, teachers, co workers, family, friends, and friends of friends), especially through the holidays.
