Libby Panter fell and broke her arm today.
As many of you know Dan and Libby are volunteering at the Kenya Baptist Theological College in Kenya. They are self-supported missionaries with limited financial resources. Today, Libby fell and broke her arm. The doctors are recommending surgery to put in pins and plates that will ensure proper recovery. Unfortunately, Dan and Libby do not have medical insurance and will have to pay for the entire expense out of pocket. The good news is that the best medical care in Kenya is much cheaper than in the US and the doctor is estimating that the total cost will be between $5,000 and $7,000.
I know many of you reading this will have served with Dan and Libby over the years. I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider helping them with this expense. They will need to make some treatment decisions in the next 24 hours. Even if you cannot help financially, I know that they would very much appreciate your prayers as they navigate this unexpected event.
