LHS represents ME at New England Theater festival!

After many months of hard work and dedication, Lisbon High School recently won the Class B State MPA Drama Festival One Act competition, and will be representing Maine at the New England Theatre festival in Rhode Island April 15-17th.
It is both an honor and an excellent educational opportunity for LHS Drama Club students, but it is not inexpensive.
The NEDC supports theatre arts in high schools throughout New England by sponsoring the annual New England Drama Festival. The New England Drama Festival provides a showcase for two shows from each of the 6 New England states. The NEDF includes workshops and forums to foster the education and discussion of theatre among the attending students and directors.
Although the three day festival itself is free, the cost of travel, lodging and food for 30 students will exceed $5,000.
