Molly was a kind and gentle person who spent most of her time and energy working with multiple charity groups. Molly's true passion in life was helping others and caring for her adopted family of cats and dogs (her kids). Molly was always the first person to volunteer to help a friend or family member it was her natural instinct to give unselfishly. To put it simply Molly was a good person with a big heart.  Throughout Molly's life she loved nothing more than animals. It was her lifelong passion. Over the years Molly has provided shelter and refuge for hundreds, maybe thousands of animals. While in Cincinnati she developed a series of elaborate cages for the animals in her basement, complete with ventilation systems, basically turning her entire basement into a rescue league for cats. She worked tirelessly taking in cats and kittens that needed a home. She worked with local animal shelters and adoption agencies to find loving homes for all of her sheltered animals. She also began working with organizations that provided pet therapy for nursing homes.

Below is a list of animal rescues Molly worked with over the years along with testimonies highlighting her dedication to making the world a better place.

“Just heard the news about Molly and am very sad to say the least. Molly was a bright light in the darkness for sure. She was an advocate for the animals and was a vital part in fundraising for Happy Home Animal Sanctuary. I know she's surrounded by loved ones and animals alike. She's probably moved into the position of Keeper of the Animals. Sounds heavenly to me.”  Posted by:  Amber - Las Vegas, NV - Sisters in animal rescue.

“I am so sorry to hear about Molly's passing. The world could use more change makers like Molly. She was obviously a blessing to her family, friends, animals, and those whose lives she touched in many ways. God bless you Molly.”       Posted by:  Sarah - Moulton, IA

“Molly was always a welcoming, caring young lady. On one trip to AZ we stopped in Las Vegas, Molly offered her car for us to use.. We were using the GPS to find their house and when we set it for "home" we kept ending up at the Pet Food Store! Of course, who would spend more time buying food for her much loved animals!”      Posted by: Pat,  IA - Aunt

“I met Molly approximately four years ago while visiting my daughter Taryn and granddaughter Isabelle. She was a blessing to my family as she took a special interest in my girls - watching over my granddaughter, very generous with her time, knowledge & gifts. So happy to have met her & I will always cherish our girls' night out - going to a buffet & dancing. Molly will be deeply missed. May God ease your sorrow & may you feel her presence. “      Posted by: Lynn - CA - Friend

“Molly was one of the first people to befriend me when I was a new flight attendant at Southwest. She took me under her wing and we bonded over our love of animals and animal rescue. Before she moved to Vegas she approached me about adopting one of her kitties and I ended up adopting Desi-Lu. She's siting on my lap as I write this, a constant reminder of Molly's compassion towards those in need (human or animal).  I'm incredibly sad to hear of Molly's passing. The world will be a little less bright without her smile, charisma, kindness and amazing red hair. Love you Molly.”   Posted by: Ashlie - Baltimore, MD - Friend/co-worker

When I hears the news about a week and a half ago my heart sank. I still can't believe it. Molly and Jay were dear to both my daughter Isabelle and I. They took is in and helped us like we were family. Molly was one of the kindest most giving people I have ever met and we miss her dearly. Even though my heart hurts I know that Molly's mind and soul is at ease. I will always remember all the fun and happy memories I have of Molly! Love you girl! Rest in paradise my friend.” Posted by: Taryn  - Henderson, NV - Friend/Co-worker
