Hi guys,

My name is Katie, I am setting up this account for my friend Shane and his two beautiful daughters.

Early this week Shane got the tragic news that Jody, his wife and mother of their two little girls, Katelyn (5) and Allison (3) had passed away in Grande Prairie. Jody was in Grande Prairie receiving treatment for Sepsis and fluid in her lungs. Because Shane and Jody don't have a lot of family support in the area and two small girls at home, Shane wasn't able to be with Jody as her hospital stays were so often and typically quite lengthy.

Jody had been sick for a year and a half, fighting infection after infection. Jody had sadly missed so much time with the girls in the last year and a half, as she spent the better portion of that time in the hospital. It ripped her apart knowing that she couldn't be with her family or keep up with the girls. 

Jody loved her family more than anything.

Two vibrant little girls are without a mother and a loving husband has lost his life partner,

I am reaching out to you all, in the hopes that you will find it in your heart to help support this family with the expensive price of a funeral, or any other unexpected costs that may arise in the coming weeks.

 Shane is on his own now and raising two little people, no one in that position should have to worry about financial burdens, anything that you are able to donate is more than appreciated.
