Sergio's Medical Fund

Hi! Everyone; 

My name is Nestor Cortina and I'm Sergio Munoz’s head soccer coach and teacher at Carteret High School. Sergio went for left knee surgery on December 19, 2014.  After surgery, the family was told that Sergio developed a blood clot that traveled to his heart and caused him to go into cardiac arrest. The doctors were able to resuscitate him but not before there was major damage to his brain. 
    At first, the doctors were very unoptimistic about his condition. They were even saying that Sergio was going to be in a vegetable state for the rest of his life. He had little to no brain activity for a week. 
   Now almost two months later, Sergio is moving his feet, recognizing his friends and even understanding commands.
   All these improvement have happened at the hospital. The problem is that Sergio needs to go to a rehabilitation facility where he is sure to improve much more. Sergio's family is in need of help for his rehabilitation. This is the reason why I am appealing to you for help.
