Local Musical Takes on NYC
Donation protected
This is a musical dark comedy about a mental hospital that Caitlyn began writing in a darkly comedic mental hospital. Most of it isn't true-to-life but some of it, unfortunately, is.
Four years after she wrote the first song in a standard-issue patient journal, "One More Fine Day" has been accepted into NYC's Midtown International Theatre Festival: Summer Season. This is a prestigious honor, but New York theatre is as expensive as it is famous.
As the out-of-town producer and director, Caitlyn is responsible for all production costs including casting, transport, and lodging for an entire cast.
As someone diagnosed with Bipolar I, Caitlyn needs your help to show the audience not only some dated practices the mental health field still holds to, but also the color and comedy inherent in seeing life differently.
Please support this project with your donation whatever it may be. Many hands will make this possible!
