Lexi Roffman- Diabetic Alert Dog
Donation protected
Lexi was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on 13/7/16, just one month before her 4th Birthday.
It has been a stressful time for the Roffman family having not one, but two Type 1 Diabetics living in the Home.
As a community, I’d love to be able to raise $10,000 to fund a Diabetic Alert Dog for the Roffman family to make their lives a little easier, and relieve some of the extra daily pressures.
The Diabetic Dog is trained over 12 months (starting at 2 hours old) to pick up a ‘low’ or a ‘high’ before a human or medical equipment can.
This could be life saving for Lexi and a huge benefit to her long term health. It will also allow her to feel safe & protected at all times.
Every donation is greatly appreciated- thank you!
