Help me get to DECA Internationals

Donation protected
Can you help me get to Nationals in Florida?
I am a Sophomore at Westfield High School in Chantilly, VA.  I found out about DECA while I was in my Sports Marketing class.  I did not think I would be interested, but my teacher had already signed me up, before I knew it my horizons were opened.

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DECA members not only gain 21st Century skills through participation through DECA activities, but as members we are prepared to become future leaders.  I am being motivated academically for not only college, but also my future career.

I recently worked with three teammates to create a project on School Based Enterprises. Our project was selected to represent our high school at the State competition in Virginia Beach, where we placed Second amongst other competitors. Now with the Nationals quickly approaching in Orlando, FL we have the opportunity to join and network with students from across the country.  We are so excited for this awesome experience, a chance to not only be chosen for busIness internships but also college scholarships.

 Now I need your help
I need to raise $2000. to cover my expenses (registration fee, airfare, transportation, accommodations, food, etc.). My mother has challenged me to raise the funds to cover my trip to the International Career Development Conference. I am excited to be apart of this amazing opportunity and dedicated to represent my high school and Virginia!

A little about me :-)
I am a 15 year old Sophomore at Westfield High school.  I live with my mother, grandmother, younger brother and sister.  In my spare time I play JV Volleyball for my school (hoping to make the Varsity team next year!) I  manage our HS  Varsity Wrestling team in the Winter, and my HS  Baseball  teams in the Spring.  While I was a Freshman in HS, I founded my local middle school's volleyball team by starting an after school volleyball program.  I continue to be actively involved in that program by volunteering there once or twice a week.  I also play Junior Olympic Volleyball, when I am not playing for my HS team.  My mom taught me to be independent and not only work for my own future but the future of my community.

I appreciate you taking the time to look at my GoFundMe and thank you for learning a little more about me.
