Theater Scoop is a pop-up news site to cover Reno-area theater from June-September 2021.
As the performing arts community emerges from a year of pandemic closures, we're providing an infusion of support in the form of news, previews, and productive discussions.
Theater Scoop is run by Double Scoop Editor Kris Vagner. Our team also includes longtime Reno theater writer Jessica Santina and a great group of new and seasoned arts journalists.
With your contribution, we'll be able to bring to the community a performing arts community an events calendar, reviews, previews, conversations, a regular feature on children’s theater, and Q+As with both performers and the hardworking people who keep things running behind the stage. (We have a few other goodies up our sleeve, too. If we exceed our funding goal, we’ll announce more offerings.)
