Lets start a British Pie and Mash Shop in SF

Hello, it took over a year to start the first ever British Cheese shop in America, Willow on the Green, in the Inner Sunset of San Francisco. To survive, we need to expand so we can have access to a dedicated kitchen and create all the delicious things our customers are crying out for. Scotch Eggs, Mowbray Pork Pies, Sheppard's Pie with actual lamb, and even a decent Pastie! We have been given the opportunity to start a new restaurant where we can make all these beautifully delicious things, but we need your help. Starting the cheese shop took a small fortune, and this restaurant will not be an exception. So we need the support of you and the community at large to fulfil our dream 30 years in the making.



Headed by owner-chef Alex J Sinclair, who trained in London with the Conran Restaurant Group since the age of 16 at The Chophouse and Le Pont De La Tour, this restaurant will merge authentic classic British recipes with fresh local ingredients from the Bay Area and the British Isles. In partnership with Willow on the Green, we hope to showcase what makes Great British food so... great!
